Bachtrio
Københavns Bachtrio / Copenhagen Bach Trio consists of Kern Westerberg on violin, Ditte Aggerholm on flute and David Bendix Nielsen on organ.
The trio was formed out of a passion for chamber music - especially the music of J.S. Bach, and offers a program centered around the piece Das Musikalisches Opfer - The musical offering. The work is one of Bach's late chamber musical masterpieces, composed on a theme by Frederick the Great of Potsdam.
The program is complimented by Bach's Partita in E major for solo violin and Sonata in E minor for flute and organ.
